We had David come to ours and fit our new kitchen work tops 2 years ago and they we're perfect. We recently decided to rehang our downstairs toilet door so it opened into the Hall and not into the toilet so called David back in. Not a simple task as the door frame was custom made over 30 years ago. David modified the door frame rather thank replace the whole thing. It mentioned we could keep everything the same. He did a great, neat and tidy job. We're very pleased with the results.Highly recommended! We had an open staircase in our new house but wanted it closed in with a new bannister/balustrade so that we could fit a stair gate for our baby and David did a beautiful job. His quote was very reasonable, he worked quickly and tidily and with excellent attention to detail. Would not hesitate to use him again.

He Completed the work with excellent craftsmanship and to a very high standard, making sure every small detail was to our liking. He clearly cares a lot about what he does and his customers. He made sure the bedroom was as dust free as possible and always tidied and cleaned up after himself. He was polite and courteous towards us and always kept us well informed about how everything was coming along. An all round excellent experience!More reviews+6
Polite, professional, efficient and tidy, we are delighted with David's sourcing and installation of 7 new interior doors and fittings - what a difference they have made to our home. We would wholeheartedly recommend Whitstable Carpentry to anyone.
This is the second time we had David out and, as the first time, we were really pleased with the result! David is a very skilful carpenter who always carried out his job in a very professional way and he leaves the property spot cleaned, which is a bonus. He is also courteous, polite and friendly; 10 out of 10!

I used David to install a staircase, some door frames and to hang some doors. Excellent quality of workmanship, really great guy to deal with. I would highly recommend him.

Very reliable and great quality of workmanship. David has good vision and checks at key points that it meets your expectations. Very pleased with the built in wardrobes.
